Support
Something not working? Question about your crew? We're here.
We're based on the Gold Coast, Australia (AEST, UTC+10). We aim to reply within two business days; please allow for the time difference. This is a response target, not a guarantee.
Email support@lockdin.com.auInclude your account email, crew name, what you were doing, and any error message. Relevant screenshots, your device and app version can help. Never send passwords or payment details. Redact sensitive information from screenshots.
The website is currently a waitlist. These instructions describe the current app build; they do not announce a public app-store release. Store purchases and paid crew-entry requirements are not enabled yet.
Getting started
How do I join a crew?
Ask a crew member for the crew's six-character invite code. In the app, open Join a Crew, enter it in Invite Code, and tap Join Crew.
When creating an account, you can also select I have an invite code and enter the code in the optional sign-up field. If your account is created but the invite is not used, you can join afterwards from the crew setup screen. If the code does not work, check it with the person who invited you.
Who can use Lockd In, and how big can a crew be?
Lockd In is for adults 18 and over. Sign-up checks the date of birth you enter; it is not an identity-document check. We store the verification result and time, not your date of birth or age. Read our Privacy Policy.
Choose a manageable group whose members can support one another. The app does not currently enforce a three-to-six-person membership limit.
Do I need a subscription to create or join a crew?
Not under the current setup: paid crew-entry requirements are disabled. The planned subscription requirement will apply to new users creating or joining crews; existing eligible accounts remain free. We will explain the requirement before it is enabled.
Subscription and billing
Where can I see subscription information?
In the current app build, go to Profile → Subscription for status and store-management links. Native purchases and restore are not enabled yet, and store setup and testing are still pending. Purchases and restore are not supported on the website or in Expo Go.
Subscriptions are planned through the Apple App Store on iOS and Google Play on Android. Check the applicable store's price, currency and renewal terms before agreeing to any purchase when available. App subscriptions are separate from Stripe crew fines.
How do I cancel a store subscription or request a refund?
If you have an Apple subscription, open iPhone Settings → your name → Subscriptions, or use Apple subscription management. Apple refund requests go through Report a Problem.
For Google Play, open Play Store → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions, or use Google Play subscription management. See Google Play's refund process.
Use the store account that made the purchase. The originating store handles cancellation and refund decisions; Lockd In support cannot cancel or refund store purchases directly.
Does cancelling or deleting my account clear my fines?
Cancelling a subscription does not erase commitments to your crew. Subscription expiry does not remove access to crews you already belong to. Leaving a crew, deleting your Lockd In account and cancelling a store subscription are separate actions.
Deleting your account does not cancel store billing. Account deletion removes associated in-app fine records rather than retaining a debt ledger; it does not refund a payment or settle any agreement with your crew. Discuss outstanding commitments before leaving or deleting. See Data Deletion.
Fines and the crew fund
How are fines paid, and who manages the fund?
Online fine payments use Stripe checkout connected to the crew admin's Stripe account. That connected account is not a shared crew bank account. Agree with the admin how money will be used, who is responsible for it, and how refunds or disputes will be handled.
If you are an admin, open Crew Settings → Admin Connections → Stripe Payments → Connect and follow Stripe's setup. Members cannot pay online until a payment account is connected. Stripe's applicable processing, fee and payout terms apply; the app does not promise a payout date or refund outcome.
I paid a fine but it still looks outstanding. What should I do?
Payment confirmation and the app's status update may not happen at the same time. Refresh the Fines screen and check the confirmation from Stripe before trying again, to avoid a duplicate payment.
If the status is still wrong, contact us with your crew name, the fine, approximate payment time and a redacted screenshot of the error or confirmation. Check with the crew admin too. Do not email card numbers, bank details or passwords. We can investigate the app status, but cannot guarantee payment timing or a refund.
I don't think I should have been fined.
Discuss it with your crew. The Fines screen provides fine waiver requests: submit a request for the fine and your crew can vote Approve or Reject under Fine Waiver Requests. A majority must approve for the fine to be waived.
A waiver decision in the app is not a Stripe refund. Contact the crew admin about money already paid, and support about technical errors. See our Terms of Service.
Your crew
How do I leave a crew?
Go to Profile → My Crews → Leave beside the relevant crew, then confirm. If you are the only admin and other members remain, select another member to take over before confirming.
For an ordinary leave, your outstanding debts and historical records remain in that crew. Your active goals are archived, active challenges involving you are cancelled, and you are removed from future meeting attendance. Leaving does not delete your account.
If you are the last member, the confirmation permanently deletes the crew and its data. This includes its in-app fine and payment records; the ordinary-leave history protection does not apply. It cannot be undone and does not reverse payments already processed by Stripe.
Someone in my crew is out of line. What can I do?
Use a feed post's menu to choose Report Post. Block User hides that person's posts from your feed; it is not a guarantee that they cannot interact elsewhere in the app. There is no general profile-report workflow.
For concerns about behaviour, email support@lockdin.com.au with the crew name, what happened and relevant redacted evidence. Our Community Guidelines prohibit harassment, abuse and objectionable content. Email support is not an emergency service.
Can an admin remove someone from a crew?
There is no admin member-removal control in the current app. A member can leave from their own Profile. For safety concerns, report the relevant post or email support rather than relying on a removal option.
What is the weekly overview? Is it an AI wrap?
Open Weekly Overview on the Dashboard for crew activity figures such as posts, completed goals and goals at risk. It is not an AI-generated weekly narrative, and there is no AI-wrap on/off setting. You can expand or collapse the overview card.
Your account and data
How do I delete my account?
Go to Profile → Delete Account, read the warning, enter your current password and confirm deletion. This is permanent and removes your account across all crews, not just the selected crew. For help if you cannot sign in, email support; never include your password.
Account deletion removes account-linked goals, content, memberships and fine/payment records. Other members' data and shared meetings may remain in crews that continue. Third-party records are separate. Read the Data Deletion Policy for the distinction between account deletion, ordinary crew leave and last-member crew deletion.
If you have a store subscription, cancel it with Apple or Google separately. Deleting the app or your account does not cancel it.
Can I change the email on my account?
A verified account-email change is not currently supported. Editing the email displayed in Profile does not change your sign-in email on the server. Keep using the email you registered with and contact support if you need help; we cannot promise an account-email change through this page.
