At Lockd In, we respect your right to control your personal data. This Data Deletion Policy explains how you can request the deletion of your data, what data will be deleted, what may be retained, and the effects of deletion on your account.
1. How to Request Data Deletion
To request deletion of your personal data, please send an email to:

Please include "Data Deletion Request" in the subject line along with the email address associated with your Lockd In account.
2. Verification Process
To protect your privacy and prevent unauthorised deletion requests, we will verify your identity before processing your request. The verification process includes:
- Confirming the email address associated with your Lockd In account
- You may be asked to provide additional identifying information to confirm ownership of the account
- We will send a confirmation email to the registered email address before proceeding with deletion
3. What Data Gets Deleted
Upon a verified deletion request, the following data will be permanently deleted from our systems:
- Account Information: Your name, email address, hashed password, and profile photo
- Goal Data: All goals, milestones, progress records, and associated details
- Posts and Photos: All check-in posts, uploaded photos, and comments
- Crew Membership: Your membership in all Crews and related activity history
- Meeting Data: Meeting records, schedules, and venue information
- Push Notification Tokens: All stored push notification tokens for your devices
- Timezone and Preferences: Your timezone setting and any app preferences
4. What May Be Retained
In certain circumstances, some data may be retained even after a deletion request:
- Anonymised and Aggregated Data: We may retain anonymised or aggregated analytics data that cannot be used to identify you. This data is used solely for improving the Service
- Legal Requirements: Data that we are required to retain by applicable law, regulation, or legal process
- Dispute Resolution: Data necessary to resolve ongoing disputes, enforce our Terms of Service, or protect our legal rights
5. Processing Timeline
Data deletion requests will be processed as follows:
- Acknowledgement: We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 5 business days
- Verification: Identity verification will be completed as promptly as possible
- Deletion: Once verified, your data will be permanently deleted within 30 days of the verified request
- Confirmation: You will receive a confirmation email once the deletion is complete
6. Effect of Data Deletion
Please be aware that deleting your data has the following permanent effects:
- Account Removal: Your account will be permanently deleted and cannot be recovered
- Crew Membership Ended: You will be removed from all Crews. Other Crew members will be notified of your departure
- Goals and Progress Lost: All goal data, check-ins, and progress history will be permanently erased
- Content Removed: All posts, photos, and comments you have shared will be deleted
- Stripe Connection Removed: Any Stripe account connection will be disconnected (your Stripe account itself will remain active; manage it directly through Stripe)
- No Recovery: Once deletion is complete, your data cannot be restored. If you wish to use Lockd In again, you will need to create a new account
7. Third-Party Data
Please note that data deletion from Lockd In does not affect data held by third-party services. If you have connected your account to services such as Stripe or Google Calendar, you will need to manage your data with those services separately according to their respective privacy policies.
